Gilad Levy
Gilad Levy, an aspiring filmmaker and photographer, is completing his final semester in Humber College's highly experiential Film and Television Production Program, consistently earning a place on the Dean’s List. Since relocating to Canada, Gilad has written and directed two short films, wrote and produced a documentary short accepted by multiple film festivals, and was the 1st AD on a short horror film and a Coca-Cola commercial. Originally from Tel Aviv, Israel, Gilad served in the Israeli Defense Force as a combat medic in the special operations engineering unit. Building discipline, powering through tough conditions, and valuing teamwork, are among the many qualities that make Gilad a valuable asset to any crew. As a natural leader, Gilad’s aim is to blend his creative edge with his skills and experiences to evolve as a storyteller. Well-traveled, enthusiastic, and curious about the world, Gilad is on track to creating films that will influence the masses the way film has influenced him.
